Just took this picture and realized I have wrinkles all around my eyes and also realized the difference in my internal response to that. PEACE.

Just 2 years ago when i found the first wrinkle on my forehead, I had started freaking out and the reality that I was again started to dawn upon me. At 35, this is getting real. Even as my spirit and soul felt the same, my body would eventually age in time to come as I get older.

I was using OLAY, and am guilty of falling for some scammed wrinkle creams that promised salvation to your skin, but they did not quite work. It is so human nature to try to beautify and salvage our house of a body even when we all understand that we have expiry dates.

We use filters and photoshop our faces to look our best for photos. We use makeup, masks and the list goes on. Shopping revolves around that too and with every new purchase of a newly advertised elixer, we fill ourselves with hope for health and beauty that we all want to possess.

The last few years I had been working out, changing my lifestyle and eating habits and I thank GOD for it is only through the holy spirit that he gave me any self-control in any form for exercise, sleep and eating – but I conclude that the most important diet and food that I have ever gone on was really fasting from “the world” and eating the bread of life directly from the bible.

This year has been life changing for me although God has always been real in my life, this year he has become my solid rock upon which I stand on. The bible is a living word, and the Holy Spirit himself will highlight things in your spirit and teach you what he is saying as you open the word and ask him to open your mind to the scriptures to know Him.

Do you believe in Jesus but don’t know the Holy Spirit and don’t understand the bible? The Holy Spirit himself will teach you what the word is saying and Jesus said that if we ask seek and knock, God will give us the gift of the Holy Spirit who is our teacher and advocate. He will teach us all things! Love you.

“So I tell you: Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?
