1. GOD IS A COVENANT GOD + GIVES SIGNS( TOKENS) FOR THE COVENANT HE MAKES
>>> When God makes a covenant, He also gives a token/sign of the covenant – Whenever He sees the sign he will remember the covenant He made. He repeated this many many times ( “this is the sign of the covenant”) when He made the Covenant with Noah.

2. THE COVENANT OF CIRCUMCISION
>>> God made a covenant with Abraham that He will be a father of many nations, that Kings will come out from Him and that GOD will be GOD OF ABRAHAM and ALL HIS DESCENDANTS. ( This means that they will belong to God and be HIS people)

>>> When God made the covenant it was HIS PART to Abraham, but there was also a part that Abraham had to do to keep “HIS PART” of the covenant or to be under this agreement.

>>> ABRAHAM HAD TO “KEEP THE COVENANT” by Circumcising Himself and His descendants. All who were circumcised ONLY THEN were they considered UNDER the COVENANT. Those who were born in His family but were not circumcised were considered “CUT OFF” because they did not KEEP the SIGN of the COVENANT.

This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. 3. NEW COVANENT >>> SPIRITUALLY, DESCENDANTS OF ABRAHAM

>>> WHEN BAPTIZED INTO JESUS ( Who is a descendant of Abraham in the natural and the son of GOD), We get grafted into this covenant God made with Abraham and become descendants of Abraham and become HEIRS TO THE PROMISE GOD MADE TO ABRAHAM.

4. HOLY SPIRIT IS THE PROMISED GIFT !!!! Promised to Abraham, which we receive through JESUS by FAITH in Him ( The Covanent) through Baptism ( sign of the covanent).

5. BAPTISM IS LIKE CIRCUMCISION ( OF HEART) in the New Covanent.

‘See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ. For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority. In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead. And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. 6. BAPTISM INTO JESUS is the PURIFICATION OF SINS ( CLEANSING) by Jesus’s Blood. JESUS IS THE PERFECT RED HEIFER.

>>> THE ASHES of the RED HEIFER is sprinkled into the water, to be used to “CLEANSE” the impure and those that are unclean. The blood and sacrifice and body of Jesus in the “water” of baptism is what Cleanses us and washes away our sins and impurities. We are covered by the blood and forgiveness of God through Jesus Christ when we immerse ourselves INTO JESUS.

>>>’“This is the statute of the law that the Lord has commanded: Tell the people of Israel to bring you a red heifer without defect, in which there is no blemish, and on which a yoke has never come. And you shall give it to Eleazar the priest, and it shall be taken outside the camp and slaughtered before him. 7. EVERYONE WHO HEARD THE GOSPEL and BELIEVED WERE BAPTIZED IMMEDIATELY

8. BAPTISM WHICH NOW SAVES YOU , WHY?
‘For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit, in which he went and proclaimed to the spirits in prison, because they formerly did not obey, when God’s patience waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through water. Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to him.’

9. BAPTISM IS DYING TO OLD LIFE, CO-CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST to RISE TO A NEW LIFE.

10. WE NEED TO BE BORN AGAIN – WATER AND SPIRIT
TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.

11. JESUS HIMSELF ( OUR EXAMPLE) WHO HAD NO SIN, WAS BAPTIZED and THEN ONLY AFTER HE RECEIVED THE HOLY SPIRIT
